Riding upon a raindrop

High in the sky
as one with the clouds.
Blown by the tradewinds,
passing over cities far beneath,
feeling the heat of the sun
so high above the ground,
moisture slowly drifting down.
Riding upon a raindrop

Reaching towards the mountains,
climbing higher, getting colder
the sun streaming from behind,
a rainbow upon my vision.
A flash in the sky.
A boom from above.
The pouring of the rain.
Riding upon a raindrop.
