Worlds Apart

Twice now we have seen each other.
I'd like to see you more.
Friendships the key.
Past, present and future.
But most of the time
We travel in different circles
We're worlds apart.

I am attracted to you,
In more ways than one
Mind, body and soul.
But our beliefs
May differ
They're worlds apart.

They say opposites attract.
The knowing that we both
Have to share.
Balance the ups and downs.
Having to take the middle road
So that we're closer together,
Not worlds apart.
