Reflections of the Past.

As a woman walks towards me,
Images flash into my head.
I have never seen her before now.
Is this a reflection of the past?

As she talks to my friends,
Images flash into my head.
She intrigues me so.
Is she a reflection of the past?

As I stand close to her
Images flash into my head
I want to be with her.
This reflection of the past.

There's something I cannot grasp about her,
As images flash into my head
It's like a reflection in a pool of water.
This reflection of the past

It's there when you reach for it,
As images flash into my head.
But as you touch it, it disappears
This reflection of the past.
